It has been reported by several media outlets that an MTV contracted helicopter crashed in Argentina early Saturday morning killing two people, Carlos Alberto Zarlenga and Luis Marcelo Barrera. CEO of Police, Roberto Munives, said “there is no hope of finding the crew alive and parts of the [helicopter] were 60 meters deep.”
According to Starcasm it was revealed that the helicopter was contracted by MTV for the reality show The Challenge: The Rivals III. MTV said in a statement, “The thoughts and prayers of all at MTV and Bunim/Murray are with those who lost their lives in this tragedy and their families during this difficult time.”
A brand new MTV series premieres tonight! ‘Scream’ comes on at 10pm tonight and is modeled after the infamous ‘Scream’ movie series. The show looks to be just as gory and slightly comical as the films starting with the very first scene. Watch the first 8 minutes (AKA: The first murder scene) below:
MTV has finally officially announced the return of ‘Teen Mom 2’ starring Leah Calvert, Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry! And of course all their adorable children.
“MTV’s groundbreaking docu-series, Teen Mom 2, returns for its highly-anticipated sixth season which follows Chelsea, Jenelle, Kailyn and Leah as they continue to navigate their complicated lives as young moms.” -Press release from MTV.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup we can look forward to a completely different styled season thanks to the original ‘Teen Moms’ breaking the fourth wall on their show. Finally we will get to see behind the scenes of filming with these ladies which is sure to give us even more juicy details of their hectic lives!
‘Teen Mom 2’ returns Thursday July 9th at 10pm on MTV.
It’s official ’16 & Pregnant’ will never end… just kidding. Seriously though for how much this show has helped reduce teen pregnancy there are still plenty of pregnant teenagers for us to watch on TV.
Yes ’16 & Pregnant’ Season 6 is in the works and apparently it’s coming with a big twist! Instead of having individual one hour shows for each girl, the show will focus on four girls over an entire season. (Just like the ‘Teen Mom’ shows.) This should give us a closer look at the girls lives and how being pregnant in high school effects them.
Personally I think this is a great change for the show. It would be fantastic for the show to go into more detail about the struggles that a lot of young girls are unaware of. I think this will also give us time to be more invested in the girls that are featured and see more of each of their stories. It should also bring in more views each week. (Am I the only one that would miss an episode of ’16 & P’ once in a while but could NOT miss an episode of ‘Teen Mom?’)
What do you guys think? Will you be watching season 6?
